Persimmon harvest brightens mountain villages in Tancheng county

Mountain persimmon trees in Quanyuan town, Tancheng county, Linyi, East China's Shandong province, are laden with bright red fruit in October, drawing visitors to the orchards to pick and enjoy the scenery.

In recent years, the town has drawn on its mountain resources to develop specialty industries suited to local conditions, expanding the planting of persimmons and wild jujubes and pursuing a path of integrated agricultural, cultural and tourism development.
