Chrysanthemums bloom in Tancheng county greenhouses

Growers at the Hantang flower planting base in Tancheng county, Linyi, East China's Shandong province, are busy livestreaming sales of chrysanthemums, packaging orders and shipping them out this October.

In recent years the county has developed its flower economy, with experienced growers leading residents to plant collectively, introducing specialty varieties and using online platforms to broaden sales channels and raise awareness. The approach has integrated the flower economy with rural tourism.
