Mengyin school runs earthquake and fire drills for disaster awareness

The emergency management and fire safety offices of Gaodu township, Mengyin county, Linyi, joined the township's central school and health center to run a disaster prevention and mitigation awareness program, with earthquake and fire drills held at the school.

The drills took students and teachers through evacuation procedures and basic response steps, aiming to strengthen awareness of disaster risks and practical escape skills.

The program is part of a wider push across Linyi's schools to build safer campuses through regular drills and safety education.
