Linyi signs 35 projects with Greater Bay Area partners in Shenzhen events
Linyi in East China's Shandong province signed 35 industrial and platform projects with partners from the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area at a cooperation event held in Shenzhen on Oct 24-25, covering high-end stainless steel, advanced special steel, high-end engineering equipment and new energy commercial vehicles.
More than 100 guests attended, including representatives of Fortune Global 500 companies, central state-owned enterprises, financial institutions, universities and research institutes, as well as buyers, consolidators and freight organizers from the bay area.
Zhu Xiang, chief representative in Shandong for China Resources Group, said the group, which entered Linyi in 2011, would deepen its presence during the 15th Five-Year Plan period (2026-2030) in comprehensive energy, urban development and health services. Wang Xin, president of the Shenzhen Cross-border E-commerce Association, said the bay area could help Linyi merchants connect with overseas buyers and import capabilities in compliance, overseas warehousing and brand operation.
Yang Guosen, chairman of Shenzhen Yangsen Industrial Robot Co, whose company has invested in a food equipment project in Yishui county, signed a second-phase project for heavy-load AGV robots, citing Linyi's business environment. "From inspection and negotiation to signing and implementation, departments at every level helped handle procedures on the spot. That sincerity makes us willing to invest," he said.
The delegation also visited Genmars, Shenzhen Youhe Group and China Resources, and held a building materials and panels matchmaking session alongside the 140th China Import and Export Fair, drawing more than 70 international buyers.
Liu Yihan, chairman of Hong Kong trade firm"Ying Sai De", said Linyi's supply chain fits cross-border procurement: "Hardware can run small orders with quick turnaround, and willow weaving is highly recognizable — it takes bulk standard orders as well as flexible customization."
