Luozhuang accelerates push into automotive aftermarket

2026-06-02

Luozhuang district in Linyi is using its established auto trade cluster, consumer events and a new-energy vehicle lineup to move beyond vehicle sales and build a nationally recognized automotive aftermarket base.

The Yihe Road automotive trade cluster remains the district's core strength. In 2025, it sold 85,000 vehicles, handled 24,000 trade-ins and generated 20.04 billion yuan ($2.8 billion) in retail sales, accounting for 42 percent of Linyi's auto retail sales and 88 percent of Luozhuang's retail total.

Covering more than 1,200 mu (80 hectares), the cluster has 86 4S stores, 80 brands and over 3,500 employees.

Its appeal is reinforced by recurring consumption events. The Yuantong May Day Auto Show, held for 18 years and 35 sessions, has evolved from a sales fair into a holiday consumption platform combining auto retail, culture, family entertainment and lifestyle markets. The city's auto and motorcycle culture tourism week has further expanded the sector's cultural reach.

The cluster has also attracted a broader lineup of new-energy and smart-vehicle brands, including Xiaomi Auto, HIMA-related AITO, DENZA, Fang Cheng Bao, VOYAH and XPENG, strengthening its role as a regional hub for emerging mobility.

Under its "one axis, three zones and four transformations" plan, Luozhuang will build a Yihe Road automotive commercial corridor covering trading, industrial services and themed leisure, while expanding used-car exports, battery services, aftermarket businesses and consumer dispute resolution.
