Pingyi's timber sector serves as a core local industry with 146 large-scale manufacturers clustered in industrial parks.Enterprises adopt formaldehyde-free processing to produce eco-friendly boards and build independent homegrown brands instead of OEM production.

The whole industrial chain extends from log processing to customized furniture, bringing an annual output of over 20.5 billion yuan in 2025.
