Linyi's foreign trade with SCO member states maintained robust growth in the first four months amid the synergy of Belt and Road and SCO strategies. Its total import and export volume hit 3.41 billion yuan, rising 5.1% year-on-year and outpacing the city’s overall foreign trade growth. Exports climbed 15.4%, with mechanical products, textiles and furniture standing out amid booming outbound shipments.

Benefiting from complementary resource endowments, the city boosted imports of Russian timber, Indian iron ore and Pakistani copper ingots, while land transport backed by TIR vehicles further fueled cross-border commerce. India, Russia and Kazakhstan emerged as core trading partners, and optimized customs clearance services continue to help local enterprises tap deeper into SCO markets.
