Seedling industry unites villages to boost incomes in Lanling

In Xiangcheng Town of Lanling County, the Hongyan Rural Innovation Community links 148 villages and five vegetable processing enterprises to drive rural revitalization. Led by a large-scale modern seedling factory, the cooperative runs 55 high-standard greenhouses with an annual seedling output of over 260 million plants, supplying high-quality seedlings across multiple northern provinces. 

The town has partnered with prestigious agricultural research institutes to develop new vegetable varieties and carry out technical training, holding more than 200 field lectures every year for over 8,000 farmers. With improved seed varieties and professional guidance, local farmers see an average income increase of over 20,000 yuan per mu. 

Supported by policy and financial aid, the community has built more than 100 village-level service stations, forming a complete industrial chain from seedling cultivation to sales and helping thousands of households achieve stable prosperity.
