Shangye innovates CEO system for integrated urban-rural development

Shangye Town in Fei County launches an innovative Regional CEO system to boost integrated development between industry and agriculture. The town has pooled over 70 million yuan of public funds and leveraged 2.25 billion yuan in social capital, successfully launching 37 key rural revitalization projects. Leading enterprises are appointed as regional operators to unify planning and management across 11 villages. 

The town guides industrial enterprises to cooperate with rural cooperatives and farmers, developing planting and breeding bases for zucchini, blueberries and broilers. This industrial linkage guarantees stable sales for farm products and creates over 600 local jobs. 

Standard greenhouses and improved benefit-sharing mechanisms ensure steady income for village collectives and residents, blazing a distinctive path for urban-rural integration and common prosperity.
