
Linyi's foreign trade with SCO member states maintains steady growth. In the first four months of 2026, the city's total import and export volume with SCO countries hit 3.41 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 5.1 percent, outpacing the city's overall foreign trade growth by 12.5 percentage points.
Exports reached 3.08 billion yuan, rising 15.4 percent year on year. Textiles, plastic products, furniture and machinery parts are major export goods, posting robust growth. Agricultural products, glass products and chemicals also saw notable export increases.
Imports are further optimized to match local industrial demands. Timber, copper materials and aquatic products from SCO countries recorded sharp growth in import volume, strongly supporting Linyi's panel, furniture and food industries.

India, Russia and Kazakhstan are the top three trading partners for Linyi among SCO members. Trade with Central Asian countries including Pakistan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan also grew rapidly.
Preferential tariff policies and efficient China-Europe freight trains have boosted bilateral trade. Linyi's land transportation volume to SCO countries stood at 690 million yuan in the first four months, up 47.8 percent year on year. Local customs will continue to improve clearance services to help enterprises explore overseas markets.
