Yishui launches regional food brand to upgrade traditional food industry

Yishui County unveiled its regional public food brand Yimeng Moshang Huakai on June 10. As a renowned "China Food City", Yishui boasts 700 food enterprises with an annual processing capacity of over 6 million tons, and many products rank top nationwide.

The county rolled out a comprehensive industrial revitalization plan and built industrial upgrading parks. After strict evaluation, 12 featured products from 39 enterprises were selected as the first batch of brand products. The brand has won industry awards and entered major supermarkets, hotels and tourist stores. Thirty-two new products will be launched in July to expand online and offline sales channels.

The new brand marks a key step for Yishui to transform from a major food county to a strong food county. It will drive the clustering and high-quality development of local food industry and set a benchmark for characteristic industrial upgrading across Linyi.
