Pingyi fosters "2+4" industrial chain pattern to revitalize industrial economy

Pingyi County of Linyi focuses on the "2+4" industrial chain development strategy, taking two municipal-level landmark industrial chains and four leading industrial chains as the core to reshape the industrial layout.

Its canned fruit and vegetable products account for one third of the national output and are sold to over 80 countries and regions. The honeysuckle industry takes up 60% of the national output, while labor protection gloves and agricultural machinery also hold major domestic market shares. The county promotes digital transformation, builds industry-university-research cooperation platforms, and adopts hierarchical cultivation for enterprises.

The clustered industrial development pattern injects strong momentum into Pingyi’s economy. Linyi will support counties to cultivate characteristic industrial chains, accelerate industrial upgrading, and build a diversified and high-quality modern industrial system across the city.
