Mengyin county solves people's urgent issues via problem-oriented governance

Mengyin County previously faced lingering livelihood issues including dilapidated residential zones, insufficient rural medical resources and unprocessed historical enterprise debts. Adhering to a correct view of political achievements, the county took targeted measures to address public hardships.

The county pushed relocation projects, delivering new housing to 196 households; upgraded 352 village clinics and expanded rural elderly care beds to 1,868. A special task force cleared 981 public complaints and assigned county-level leaders to resolve 14 legacy reform problems. Meanwhile, 268 Party-led agricultural cooperatives built a standardized peach industrial chain, while a new drilling machinery industrial park attracted 8 enterprises with projected 5-billion-yield output by 2030.
