Pingyi shapes industrial layout with 2 plus 4 industrial chains

Pingyi County's traditional scattered manufacturing structure lacked systematic planning and high-end competitiveness. The county rolled out the "2 plus 4" industrial chain strategy as the core driving force for its 15th Five-Year industrial upgrade.

Two landmark municipal chains — green fruit & vegetable processing and high-end wood smart home manufacturing — lead development. Four pillar chains (honeysuckle, building materials, equipment manufacturing, textile gloves) consolidate industrial fundamentals. The county launched 14 key breakthrough initiatives, built industrial research institutes and implemented factory digital transformation. Canned fruit output accounts for one third of national volume, while glove and agricultural machinery output each take over 60% domestic market share.

Chain-based industrial planning fuels county-level high-quality manufacturing. Linyi will popularize the categorized industrial chain development model across all counties to optimize regional industrial layout.
