Shandong's first pv-storage direct flexible heavy truck charging station launches in Linyi

2026-06-26

As China's Logistics Capital, Linyi sees rapid growth of new energy heavy trucks, yet supporting green charging infrastructure lagged behind industrial demand. On June 25, Shandong's first provincial-level integrated PV-storage-direct flexible heavy truck charging demonstration station was put into operation in Yitang Town, Lanshan District.

The station has 15 charging bays including 8 liquid-cooled ultra-fast piles delivering 800–1000kW single-gun power, enabling 300-kilometer range after 10 minutes of charging. Rooftop distributed photovoltaic systems plus energy storage realize zero-carbon power supply for new energy vehicles. It adopts the province's first 10kV direct-connected solid-state transformer system to realize flexible grid load shifting and real-time green power consumption adjustment. By 2027, Linyi will build 26 heavy truck charging stations to form a nearly 1,000-kilometer green energy supply corridor along provincial and national highways.

The innovative charging facility forms a key part of Linyi's low-carbon transport system. The city will replicate the PV-storage-direct flexible model across road networks to build a national demonstration zone for new energy commercial vehicles.
