Linyi holds China-Africa economic and trade dialogue with African diplomatic envoys

The Linyi, China - Economic and Trade Dialogue with Diplomatic Envoys of African Countries opened on July 10. Mayor Yu Shengtao delivered welcome remarks to ambassadors and consuls from Gabon, Malawi, Cameroon and Senegal.

The event arranged enterprise matching forums and field visits to Linyi Trade City and Lingong Group. First-quarter 2026 Linyi-Africa trade volume hit 6.74 billion yuan, up 16.6 percent year on year. Complementary supply and demand create huge cooperation space in daily goods, engineering machinery and infrastructure construction.

The high-level diplomatic platform advances the Hundred Groups & Thousands of Enterprises Globalization strategy. It turns national zero-tariff policy dividends into tangible trade growth and builds Linyi as an inland opening-up hub linking Africa.
