Lingang new energy commercial vehicle industry sees explosive growth in Linyi

Production lines of new energy heavy and light commercial vehicles run at full capacity at Leichi Auto and Shenxiang Technology in Lingang District, Linyi on July 11. The district has prioritized building a signature industrial chain of new energy commercial vehicles and achieved striking growth momentum this year.

From January to May, Lingang rolled out 5,590 new energy commercial vehicles with an industrial output value of 1.734 billion yuan, representing a year-on-year surge of 2,660 percent, and total sales reached 6,619 units. It is estimated that 7,034 vehicles will be delivered in the first half of 2026, with output hitting 2.06 billion yuan, up 5,131 percent year on year. Leichi Auto upgrades products continuously and expands overseas markets while developing intelligent unmanned vehicle projects. Shenxiang Technology completes production line renovation to double its capacity and has delivered 380 vehicles via targeted sales cooperation.

The fast-expanding new energy commercial vehicle cluster injects strong green industrial momentum into Linyi's manufacturing sector. Lingang will keep optimizing industrial supporting facilities, boost R&D innovation and cross-border sales, and build a leading production base of new energy commercial vehicles in Shandong province.
