Linyi delegation secures two projects in Kyrgyzstan

A business delegation from Linyi secured two cooperation projects during a five-day trade mission to Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, helping local companies strengthen commercial links with the Central Asian market.

The July 6-10 visit brought together 14 companies from sectors including cross-border logistics, new energy, auto parts, apparel and cosmetics. Organized by a local business association, the mission combined business exchanges, market research and meetings with potential partners to assess prospects for longer-term commercial cooperation in the region.

The delegation met local Chinese business groups and companies in logistics, building materials and media. It also visited Dordoi Bazaar and three other major wholesale markets serving Central Asia to study consumer demand, distribution channels and popular product categories.

A China-Kyrgyzstan business matchmaking event attracted about 40 Kyrgyz buyers. Representatives from Linyi presented products and made cooperation proposals in such fields as logistics, environmental protection, cosmetics and consumer goods, highlighting the city's manufacturing and supply-chain strengths.

The visit resulted in two agreements being inked. A Linyi supply-chain company reached a strategic partnership with a Kyrgyz logistics partner to establish a product exhibition and distribution center in Bishkek, integrating display, warehousing and sales. A Linyi cosmetics company also signed an agreement with a local partner, opening a regional sales channel in Kyrgyzstan.

Organizers said the mission created a practical model combining business dialogue, market research, B2B matchmaking and project implementation, offering a clearer route for more Linyi companies seeking opportunities across Central Asia in the coming years.
