Mengyin honey peach industry forms hundred-billion-yuan full industrial chain

Honored as China's Peach Capital, Mengyin County builds a complete hundred-billion-yuan industrial chain centered on honey peaches via technological upgrading brand building and integrated primary, secondary and tertiary industry development.

The county boasts 803,000 mu of peach orchards with annual output exceeding 1 billion kilograms, covering over 70 peach varieties with staggered ripening seasons. Intelligent sorting cold storage facilities cut fruit loss rate below 5 percent, while deep-processing workshops produce peach jam, dried fruit and peach wood cultural handicrafts to raise product added value. More than 6,000 online stores and 60,000 e-commerce practitioners drive annual online sales of over 21.5 million orders, with products exported to more than 20 overseas countries.
