Tancheng develops full-chain modern food industry for rural vitalization

Focusing on grain, livestock feed, livestock processing and prefabricated food sectors, Tancheng County builds a complete agricultural industrial chain to drive farmers’stable income growth and high-quality rural development.

Five core industrial tracks are fully deployed in the county. Wudeli Flour Group operates the world's single largest wheat processing base with daily treatment capacity of 8,000 tons, whose bran byproducts serve raw materials for feed manufacturers. Tanrun Food constructs a closed-loop industrial chain covering breeding, slaughter, deep processing and cold chain logistics, with annual slaughter volume of 4 million live pigs and 100 million broilers. Ruifaide and Meishilian lead prefabricated food production, supplying well-known chain catering brands and exporting frozen products to 12 Middle East nations. In 2025, 35 above-scale food enterprises in the county achieved total industrial output of 15.29 billion yuan, up 18.5 percent year on year. Specialized working groups carry out targeted investment attraction, financial support and talent training to extend industrial value chains.

The integrated food industrial ecosystem turns local agricultural resources into steady wealth sources for villagers. The cluster development model with leading enterprises driving small and medium-sized players strongly boosts industrial upgrading and rural economic prosperity in Tancheng County.
