Under the "Hundreds of Groups, Thousands of Enterprises Go Global" initiative of Linyi Trade City, Linyi takes South Korea as a key pilot market to expand cross-border trade channels.
Local business associations and municipal authorities jointly organize economic exchange events with South Korean industrial groups, matching domestic manufacturers with Korean importers, cross-border e-commerce platforms and distribution agents. Events showcase protective equipment, daily consumer goods and handicrafts from Linyi.
Linyi has built overseas shopping malls in South Korea and Malaysia to serve over 300 local export firms, driving export volume exceeding 200 million yuan to South Korea alone. A batch of foreign trade service stations have been set up across South Korea to provide localized market support for Linyi merchants.
The city adopts a dual development model of inviting overseas buyers in and sending local enterprises abroad. Regular overseas exhibition tours and bilateral business forums strengthen long-term trade ties between Linyi and South Korean industrial players, opening new overseas sales channels for Linyi-made products.
