Mengyin boosts tech services with three-pronged support mechanism

Mengyin County launches a three-drive service model including targeted policy delivery, funding support and university-industry cooperation to optimize innovation-focused business environment.

The county's science and technology bureau implements a "every staff member serves enterprises" working mechanism. It replaces blanket policy lectures with precise, tailored guidance via offline seminars, on-site visits and online document push. Four special tutoring sessions have benefited over 170 firms, with 80 enterprises receiving door-to-door policy consultation this year.

Four working groups led by county-level cadres provide full-process support for enterprises applying for scientific research subsidies and transformation loans. Up to 5.2 million yuan in transformation loans and discounts have been secured for local manufacturers, with over 10 million yuan in provincial project funds expected this year.

The bureau acts as a bridge linking local factories with universities such as Harbin Institute of Technology, resolving technical bottlenecks through joint research. So far, 16 university-industry cooperation projects have been signed to overcome more than 20 technical challenges for Mengyin's manufacturing firms.
