Against the "Thousands of Groups Go Global" initiative of Linyi Trade City, construction machinery products become a core engine of Linyi's exports to Africa with efficient customs clearance support.Shandong Lingong, Linyi's leading machinery manufacturer, has sold products to 39 African countries and regions. Its total export volume to Africa exceeded 800 million yuan in the first half of 2026, up 50 percent year on year, accounting for over 80 percent of Linyi's total construction machinery exports to Africa.
Africa's accelerated industrialization and infrastructure construction create massive market demand for engineering equipment. Over 70 percent of local African machinery relies on imports, leaving broad room for cost-effective Chinese construction machinery. In H1 2026, Linyi's machinery exports to Africa reached 1.28 billion yuan, growing 86.8 percent and driving overall Africa export growth by 4.5 percentage points.
Linyi Customs rolled out exclusive clearance channels for large engineering equipment, adopting advance declaration and reservation inspection to shorten clearance cycles. Regular "customs-enterprise communication" meetings and AEO mutual recognition cooperation fully support local manufacturers to tap African markets.
Official customs data shows Linyi's total import and export volume with Africa hit 16.66 billion yuan in H1 2026, a 26 percent year-on-year increase, with mechanical and electrical products as the major growth pillar.
