First county-level food safety digital platform launches in Shandong

Yunji Procurement, Shandong’s first county-wide digital food safety purchasing supervision platform, officially went online and operates in Junan County.

The whole-process digital system covers agricultural planting, primary processing, wholesale markets, supermarket sales and catering terminals. Every batch of grain, fruit and vegetable products carries unique traceable QR codes, enabling one-click inquiry of planting origin, test reports and circulation records.

All market entities including family farms food processing factories and catering stores complete filing on the platform. Real-time big data monitoring automatically marks unqualified products and generates closed-loop rectification orders for market regulators.

The platform integrates online order matching, unified sampling inspection and risk early warning functions, cutting manual supervision costs by over 50 percent. It realizes "traceable source, trackable flow, controllable risks" for county-level food supply chains.

Junan will promote the platform's model to all township markets and rural catering stores, building a digital food safety defense line to protect residents’dining safety.
