Saudi-Shandong Business Council opens Linyi liaison office to boost trade with Middle East

The inauguration ceremony for the Linyi Liaison Office of the Saudi-China Shandong General Chamber of Commerce was held in Linyi, Shandong province on Aug 20. This milestone marks a new, institutionalized phase of economic cooperation between Linyi and Saudi Arabia, injecting strong momentum for local enterprises to integrate deeper into the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) markets.

Linyi's robust trade and logistics advantages, coupled with its increasingly complete export service ecosystem, perfectly align with Saudi Arabia's market demands.

Serving as a "bridgehead" for Linyi enterprises entering the country, the liaison office will provide tailored "one-on-one" overseas expansion solutions. These will cover crucial areas such as market intelligence, customer resources, channel connectivity, customs and logistics clearance, and compliance certification.

Under this new framework, the office is set to leverage the resource aggregation capabilities of the Linyi International Market Center and the cross-border network of the Saudi-China Shandong General Chamber of Commerce.

It aims to facilitate the flow of more high-quality Linyi products to the Middle East, injecting fresh vitality into the city's high-level opening-up and high-quality foreign trade development.
