Lanshan district unveils plan for Linyi Trade City development
The Lanshan district government office in Linyi, East China's Shandong province, has issued the 15th Five-Year Plan (2026-2030) for the High-Quality Development of Lanshan Trade City, in a move to implement the provincial guidance on supporting the high-quality development of Linyi Trade City and the city's strategy of prioritizing commerce and logistics.
Guided by six actions — internationalization, digital empowerment, culture-tourism integration, industrial linkage, brand driving and logistics modernization — the district will carry out six projects covering foreign trade ecosystem building, new business cultivation, digital ecosystem integration, commerce-culture-tourism integration, industry-trade mutual reinforcement and warehousing and logistics upgrading.
Under the internationalization action, the district will strengthen foreign trade entities, build a cluster of international commodity trading centers, develop an online product selection center based on the "China Daji" digital trade platform, and build the Linyi International Product Selection Center and a Xinminghui selection center offline. It will expand cross-border e-commerce, upgrade overseas layout by transforming existing overseas warehouses into public ones, and improve international support functions.
The digital action will strengthen the digital trade platform, innovate a "lightweight going-global plus full-chain coordination" model, expand the logistics big data platform, and cultivate 60 digital platform enterprises and 30 distinctive digital industrial belts, while building the "Yimeng Haohuo" (Quality Yimeng Goods) regional public brand.
The culture-tourism action will create integrated markets and a cultural tourism product selection center, and promote the "Enjoy Linyi, Shop the Trade City" brand. The industrial linkage action will foster a "front shop, back factory" chain and raise the share of proprietary brands to over 40 percent. The logistics modernization action will accelerate the second phase of the modern logistics city, build the country's largest warehousing cluster and smart warehousing demonstration base, and develop a multimodal transport system integrating road, rail, sea and air.
