Yinan county invites tourists to 'perform' the Spring Festival

Walking down the red carpet of "Starlight Avenue," leaving a signature on the film-themed wall, and encountering a key NPC—a specially invited "director"—who hands out "role cards" or "mission letters" based on visitor interactions, guiding them through different cinematic scenes for an immersive journey from extra to "leading role"… On February 12, the 25th day of the 12th lunar month, a reporting team joined an exploration group in Yinan County, Linyi City, to get an early taste of this "New Year flavor tourism."

For the 2026 Spring Festival, Yinan County is no longer just inviting visitors to "see" the festive atmosphere, but to "perform" it. This year, Yinan has integrated its cultural and tourism resources across the county, adopting "immersion, interaction, and integration" as its core approach. 

The county has launched three major narrative-driven festive hubs—Zhuyuan Village·Hongshizhai, the Hometown of Red Sisters Tourism Area, and the Yinan Leisure Food Museum—while also incorporating hot springs, art galleries, and boutique homestays. Together, they form a county-wide immersive New Year experience program titled "When Yimeng Has a Play, the New Year Calls You to Take the Stage."
