Coinciding with International Museum Day and China Tourism Day in May, Linyi has launched a series of cultural and tourism events throughout the month, transforming the city into a vibrant hub for art and history enthusiasts.

The Linyi Museum is leading the celebration with the International Ceramic Art Exhibition, featuring over 90 works from 20 countries. This cultural event is complemented by a mix of classic recitations, robotic performances, and traditional arts, showcasing a harmony between ancient heritage and modern creativity.

Beyond static exhibitions, local museums in Lanling, Yishui, and Junan counties are focusing on education through immersive experiences. Workshops on artifact restoration, bronze ware learning, and Langya culture are engaging with the youth in the region. In addition, mobile museum initiatives are bringing cultural heritage directly into schools, communities, and healthcare centers.

Embracing digital advancements, Linyi is bridging the physical-virtual divide through XR immersive experiences and AI-driven creative displays. The museum's Translating for Artifacts short video series encourages digital interaction with history.

This campaign across the city integrates performing arts, scenic spots, and sports events to create a holistic travel experience. From rural cherry festivals to mountain floral tours, Linyi's strategic combination of tourism resources offers visitors a diverse look at the city's unique charm, cementing its reputation as a leading destination for cultural discovery.
