Linyi is improving channels for quality agricultural products to reach the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and overseas markets, combining ecological resources from Yimeng with its benefits as China's logistics capital.
The city has developed a support system for agricultural exports. It now has three national demonstration zones for the quality and safety of exported food and agricultural products, two provincial agricultural export industry clusters, six provincial agricultural export demonstration enterprises, and 21 "vegetable basket" bases serving the GBA.
Policy support is also being improved. Linyi has introduced measures to support enterprises in joining overseas exhibitions and creating overseas warehouses, while working with customs officials to open export channels for prepackaged food through market procurement trade. More than 200 export enterprises have received specific business training.
Logistics has become a key advantage. Linyi has established 59 overseas warehouses in 27 countries and regions, including Hungary, Russia, and Pakistan, and has started 37 cold-chain routes to the Yangtze River Delta and the GBA. These routes support China-Europe freight trains and international road transport, helping cut agricultural logistics costs by 15 percent and reduce loss rates to below 5 percent.
Throughout the 2026 Hong Kong-Macao-Shandong Week, Linyi will promote its Yimeng agricultural brands and strengthen trade links with the GBA and Portuguese-speaking countries.
