Linyi's cut flower exports have registered rapid growth thanks to optimized customs services. From January to May this year, the total value of exported cut flowers including phalaenopsis reached 2.55 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 180%. Cut flowers face strict quarantine rules and require ultra-fast customs clearance due to short shelf life. Linyi Customs strengthens daily supervision on registered planting bases and timely updates overseas quarantine policies for exporters.
It also opens dedicated green channels, adopting appointment inspection and digital certificate issuance to realize zero waiting for clearance. A recent batch of 7,524 phalaenopsis plants passed on-site inspection and was shipped to Japan by air. Efficient services greatly reduce product loss and enhance local flower producers' confidence to explore global markets.
