As the Dragon Boat Festival coincides with early summer, Linyi rolls out a full lineup of scenic experiences and preferential policies to attract domestic tourists. Yunmeng Scenic Area, known as a natural oxygen bar with an average summer temperature of 21 Celsius degrees, features forest trails, fairy-themed interactive zones and pastoral leisure facilities. The venue waives entrance fees for all visitors under 18 years old until August 31 to encourage family outings.
Shuiyun Langya Tourism Zone, a landmark waterfront complex, gains national exposure after footage of its night shows was featured in A Hundred Boats Salute the Dragon Boat, a special Dragon Boat program produced by China Media Group. The zone hosts drone light shows, immersive traditional operas and folk performances every night. Guimeng Scenic Spot also draws crowds with spectacular sea of clouds during the holiday period. A series of parent-child water entertainment, gourmet stalls and folk activity zones are set up across multiple scenic sites to enrich visitors’itineraries.
By integrating natural ecology, nighttime culture and national media promotion, Linyi builds a distinctive summer tourism brand. The city will continue optimizing scenic service packages and inclusive ticket policies, further boosting cultural tourism vitality and welcoming travelers nationwide.
