Xiawei Town's 39.8-kilometer Caoyao Road in Yishui County connects scattered mountain villages, previously limited by poor transport that blocked sales of local cherries and red cultural tourism development.

The county invested 200 million yuan to upgrade the highway into a red tourism corridor with red sculptures, wall paintings and themed light boxes lining both sides. The route links revolutionary memorial sites, 5A scenic spots and cherry picking gardens, forming an integrated tourism network of red education, ecological sightseeing and agritainment. Cycling, fruit picking and homestay businesses flourish along the road, driving mountain specialty sales and rural tourist arrivals.

Yishui's red-plus-industry transport model offers a typical example of rural revitalization. Linyi will build more themed rural tourism highways to activate mountainous rural resources and pass on the Yimeng Spirit through integrated development.
