Linshu holds reservoir flood control comprehensive emergency drill

Frequent summer heavy rainfall poses flood and mountain torrent threats to mountainous towns in Linshu County. Daxing Town organized full-scale flood prevention training and emergency drills at Wukuashi Reservoir to upgrade grassroots response capacity.

The event includes routine reservoir patrol training focusing on hidden danger identification and emergency reporting, plus two core drill modules: rapid troop assembly and mass evacuation under simulated flood crest scenarios. Participants practiced dike leakage inspection, hazard reporting and orderly transfer of downstream villagers, testing the feasibility of emergency plans and improving cross-department coordinated rescue efficiency.

Regular flood control drills consolidate seasonal safety foundations. Linyi's rural towns will carry out targeted emergency exercises to secure people’s lives and property during flood season.
