Yimeng Spirit carried forward at campus art gala in Lanshan District, Linyi

A cultural performance themed “Passing Down the Torch of Yimeng” was held at the Nanchang Road Campus of Linyi No.9 Middle School on June 29, organized by the Education and Sports Bureau of Lanshan District.

Since the start of this year, Lanshan's education system has launched a series of themed activities to inherit and promote the Yimeng Spirit, including seven categories of programs: singing red songs, writing themed essays, telling revolutionary stories, creating red scroll paintings, delivering keynote speeches, Party history competitions and red research tours. Divided into three chapters — Inheritance, Transmission and New Flame, the gala showcased elite programs selected from school choir contests and young pioneers’red story-sharing activities.

Highlights including chorus Yimeng Minor Tune, dance Bloody Battle at Yuanziya, allegro performance The Eternal Red Torch and scene play Unfailing Red Flag recall revolutionary history, inspire young people to stay true to their original aspiration and call on teenagers to follow the Party and strive for progress.

The event integrates red culture with campus education, helps young students inherit revolutionary traditions and carry forward the Yimeng Spirit, building a solid ideological foundation for youth growth.
