Huanhejingbu Village of Zhubian Town, Junan County follows a development path combining red cultural inheritance and green ecological industry, relying on the birthplace of Shandong Xinhua Bookstore.

Founded in 1944, the revolutionary publishing site preserves intact printing facilities and secret evacuation tunnels. Seventy-three-year-old villager Ding Yuanjie volunteers to guard the cultural relics as a regular guide. The village builds a 1,000-square-meter white tea processing workshop and introduces a 400-million-yuan northern cloud tea warehouse project, transforming 2,000 mu of high-standard riverfront farmland.

A characteristic study tour route linking red relics and tea gardens receives nearly 10,000 student visitors annually. The village also upgrades rural living environments and plans new rural residential compounds to develop homestay business, forming an integrated development system of red culture, tea agriculture and waterfront eco-tourism.
