Lotus viewing and waste sorting promotion launched at Wuzhou lake, Linyi

The "lotus breeze, harmonious ecology" themed summer activity kicked off at Wuzhou Lake on July 2, combining lotus sightseeing with waste-sorting popularization for local residents.

The lakeside lotus pond presents picturesque summer scenery and attracts crowds of visitors. Organizers invited kindergarten children to appreciate lotus flowers and distribute flower seeds, while setting interactive booths for garbage classification. Volunteers handed out guide pamphlets and held quiz sessions with daily environmental gifts as rewards.

The event integrates ecological leisure and civilization education, guiding citizens to develop low-carbon green lifestyles and enrich Linyi's summer public cultural activities.
