Famous folk song yimeng minor presented in immersive live show in Feixian

Created 86 years ago in Baishiwu Village, Feixian County, the classic folk song Yimeng Minor gains new vitality through immersive live performances at Tianmeng Scenic Area this summer.

The 60-minute interactive performance adopts march-style touring scenes with role-play experience. Visitors take the identities of Counter-Japanese University students and frontline supporters to walk through restored villages and trenches, reliving revolutionary stories. The show runs twice daily on weekdays and four times on holidays, receiving over 200,000 visitors in more than 700 performances so far. The scenic area has been certified a provincial study tour base for primary and secondary students.

Integrating red history with immersive tourism products, the live show transforms static revolutionary relics into interactive cultural experiences. It inherits the Yimeng Spirit and builds a distinctive red cultural tourism brand for Feixian and the whole Yimeng region.
