Sishilipu town builds eco-agriculture tourism chain in Yishui

Sishilipu Town of Yishui County takes circular agriculture as the core to realize the transformation from single planting to integrated agri-tourism industry. Xitian Family Farm forms a closed ecological loop combining grape cultivation, beef breeding and yellow worm breeding. Livestock manure is fermented into organic fertilizer for grape fields, while crop straw serves as animal feed.

Supported by 9 special government funds totaling 1.51 million yuan, the farm has obtained green and organic food certifications and become a supply base for the Yangtze River Delta and Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. It offers on-site jobs for over 100 villagers during harvest seasons and runs training courses for more than 1,200 professional farmers each year.

Relying on circular planting and leisure picking projects, the town will build suburban parent-child tourist destinations. The integrated development model of ecology, agriculture and tourism creates a replicable path for mountainous towns to advance rural vitalization.
