Jinqueshan subdistrict builds civilized communities with all-round cultural services

On July 12, a summer painting activity for minors was held at the New Era Civilization Practice Station of Fujiatun Community, Jinqueshan Subdistrict, Lanshan District, Linyi. More than 20 children painted pictures of civilized homes under the guidance of volunteers and parents, creating a lively cultural scene for the summer vacation.

In recent years, Jinqueshan Subdistrict has taken three key measures including venue upgrading, model guidance and cultural immersion to boost rural vitalization through civilized customs. It deploys four teams of community cadres, police, legal advisers and volunteers into grid units, and promotes the five-step negotiation mechanism to resolve residential governance issues. Idle public spaces are transformed into leisure zones to satisfy residents’daily needs. The subdistrict regularly holds selection activities for good families and kind citizens, and carries out publicity campaigns to change outdated customs. From January to June this year, over 120 quality improvement activities were launched across 17 practice stations.

The continuous construction of civilized customs injects warm spiritual vitality into urban grassroots governance. Jinqueshan Subdistrict will keep enriching cultural activities and integrate civilized concepts into residents’daily lives to build harmonious Yimeng communities.
