Linyi upgrades rural vitalization via connected village zone development

Linyi City adheres to the guidance of the Ten-Thousand-Village Project experience and comprehensively upgrades its rural revitalization model centered on connected village zones, covering 57 percent of all natural villages across the city.

The city establishes three-level planning systems and classifies all rural zones into four categories with targeted construction plans for each area. It comprehensively renovates rural living environments, upgrades over 30,000 kilometers of rural roads, completes full coverage of village tap water and standardized village clinics. Relying on characteristic agricultural clusters, agritourism and agricultural deep processing industries, Linyi realizes full coverage of village collective income above 100,000 yuan. The city integrates red cultural inheritance and custom reform into zone construction, building immersive red performance venues and public banquet halls to cultivate civilized rural customs.
