Five featured villages serve sub-venues for rural civility conference

The 2026 Conference on Social Etiquette and Civility in Rural Areas opened in Linyi on July 16, with five characteristic villages designated as core sub-venues for on-site observation and exchange.

The five selected demonstration villages cover distinct development models: Donggaozhuang Village in Yinan relies on red revolutionary heritage to stage immersive rural shows; Zhucun Village of Linshu inherits 80-year-old red New Year customs and develops willow weaving industry; Daicun Village in Lanling pioneers custom reform and modern large-scale agriculture; Changshan Village of Yinan builds red film and television homestay clusters; Shuilianyu Village in Mengyin integrates mountain ecology, agritourism and grassroots cultural activities. Each village integrates red genes, civilized norms and characteristic industries to form replicable rural vitalization paths.

The five sub-venue villages present vivid field cases for national delegates. They fully display Linyi's integrated practice of red inheritance, custom renovation and industrial enrichment, and demonstrate distinctive Yimeng rural civilization achievements to the whole country.
