Yicheng subdistrict solves minor livelihood issues to boost people’s well-being

Yicheng Subdistrict of Yishui County adheres to the people-centered development philosophy and takes trivial daily livelihood matters as the core of implementing correct performance concepts. The subdistrict optimizes community facilities, builds barrier-free ramps, renovates sewers and constructs village pocket parks to eliminate residents’living troubles.

A complete mass demand collection system covering 12345 hotlines, grid inspections and household visits has been established. The subdistrict carries out 10 major town-level livelihood projects and 126 village-level practical tasks every year, including standardized renovation of clinics, new parking lots and heating pipeline upgrading. Two featured volunteer brands — "Cao Cao Heart" elderly care service and "Elders Guide Kids" reading classes — have run for consecutive years to care for seniors and minors.
