Hosting a series of events ahead of the 26th Shandong Provincial Games, Linshu County takes sports competitions as a core engine to convert short-term tourist flow into long-term industrial vitality and build a complete "sports plus culture, tourism and commerce" development system.

In recent years, the county has hosted 23 high-level provincial and national tournaments including the National Youth Rowing Championship and WCBA home matches, drawing over 60,000 participants and spectators and generating 45 million yuan in direct consumption. It holds nearly 800 mass fitness events annually covering all age groups, and coordinates 12 government departments to form a full-cycle event service mechanism. Relying on Zhucun red village resources, Linshu integrates tournaments with red research tours, intangible heritage fairs and agritainment. Six exclusive tourist routes are provided for athletes with discounted hotel and scenic tickets, realizing the industrial logic of "events attract visitors, culture retains visitors and consumption generates revenue".

The sports-based integrated development model offers a replicable sample for small counties to activate cultural tourism economy. It fully demonstrates Linyi's achievements displayed at the National Conference on Social Etiquette and Civility in Rural Areas.
