Changshan village builds red tourism cluster for rural vitalization

As a core demonstration village of the Yimeng Red Sister Rural Revitalization Zone, Changshan Village in Mayuchi Town, Yinan County relies on profound revolutionary heritage to integrate red study tours, film shooting and immersive folk performances into a complete cultural industry system.

The village preserves 367 well-maintained ancient stone courtyards built in the Ming Dynasty, adopting the "repair old as old" protection principle to retain original rural texture. The Yimeng Red Sister Memorial Hall with 11 immersive courtyard venues attracts over 1 million visitors annually. Original rural operas and the experiential drama Retrace the Frontline Supply Route are performed daily, enabling villagers to gain stable income as actors. More than 450 films and TV series have been shot here, turning the village into a well-known northern red film base. Under the "one zone four posts" development model, villagers earn revenue through land shares, factory jobs, performance roles and store sales. In 2025, village collective income exceeded 600,000 yuan with per capita disposable income reaching 22,000 yuan.
