Three Linyi schools named national science education pilot campuses

The Ministry of Education released the first batch of national primary and secondary school science education experimental list on July 23, with three schools in Linyi shortlisted as official pilot institutions.

The national plan covers 135 experimental zones and 1,246 experimental schools nationwide. The three selected Linyi institutions will take the lead in developing specialized science courses, building tech laboratories and organizing innovation competitions for teenagers.

Local education authorities stated the three campuses will optimize science teaching systems, launch regular tech festivals and maker activities, and cooperate with research institutes to popularize hands-on scientific exploration. The construction of featured science education courses will lay a solid foundation for cultivating young innovative talents in Linyi.
