Young interpreters inherit Yimeng spirit at city-wide showcase

A youth showcase event for Young Pioneer narrators was held in Linyi to pass down the Yimeng Spirit through teenage voices, organized by the Publicity Department of the CPC Linyi Municipal Committee and multiple municipal departments.

The activity opened with the chorus Little Tune of Yimeng, divided into three chapters featuring red story narration, situational recitation and youth dialogue, forming an immersive ideological classroom for teenagers.

Participants included visually impaired student Ge Xiaofu from Linyi Special Education School and outstanding former narrators studying at Nankai University. The event awarded 10 gold-level narrators, 100 silver-level narrators and 1,000 youth story ambassadors after city-wide selections.

Organizers stated the series activity is a core program of the Yimeng Spirit Promotion Month, guiding young students to become tellers and practitioners of local revolutionary stories and carry forward red genes.
