National photographic art exhibition debuts in Linyi as Shandong's first stop

The touring exhibition of outstanding works from The 30th National Photographic Art Exhibition opened at Linyi Art Museum on July 28, marking the first stop of its Shandong tour. Co-hosted by China Federation of Literary and Art Circles Photography Art Center, Shandong Photographers Association and Linyi Federation of Literary and Art Circles, the event is a key grassroots cultural project under the national Strengthen Foundation Program.

As China's most authoritative and influential national photography event with a 69-year history, this exhibition selected 107 sets (200 pieces) from 279 final award-winning works nationwide, covering documentary, artistic, creative and commercial categories. The photographs capture rural revitalization, ecological protection, urban construction, people’s livelihood, red culture and major national projects, fully showcasing achievements of high-quality development in the new era.

Nearly 300 local photographers, literary artists and guests attended the opening ceremony. Officials delivered speeches acknowledging Linyi's solid foundation in red documentary photography and outstanding achievements in inheriting the Yimeng Spirit through visual art. This is the second time Linyi has hosted the national photography tour, following the 29th exhibition held in June 2024.

The exhibition will remain open to the public free of charge until August 5 in Exhibition Hall C of Linyi Art Museum (No.10 Binhe Road, Lanshan District). Linyi Photographers Association will organize viewing seminars and field creation activities to boost local photography industry development and support Linyi's cultural city construction.
