2026 Qingdao Beer Festival lights up summer beach in Yishui

The 2026 Qingdao Beer Festival themed "Blossoms Along the Road, Taste of Yishui" opened on the south beach of Sanqiao Tourism Zone, Yishui County on the evening of August 3. The 10-day summer carnival integrates local cuisine, stage performances and drone light shows, drawing crowds of local residents and tourists to enjoy vibrant summer nightlife.

The venue is filled with the rich aroma of Yimeng braised chicken, local preserved vegetables, roasted duck and handmade snacks. Interactive competitions including watermelon-eating and beer-drinking contests create a lively, down-to-earth atmosphere for visitors of all ages. Large stage singing performances run throughout the night, bringing continuous entertainment to beach audiences.

The highlight of the opening night was a spectacular drone formation show. Hundreds of drones rose into the night sky over the Yi River, forming patterns of phoenixes, dragons and event slogans against the dark sky, reflecting shimmering river waves and creating a fantastic visual feast for onlookers.

The festival aims to boost local consumption, activate night economy and showcase Yishui’s lively urban vitality. As a famous food manufacturing base nicknamed "China Food City", Yishui boasts a complete food industrial chain with more than 700 processing enterprises, providing solid industrial support for the large-scale summer event.
