Lanshan District Bureau of Culture and Tourism signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement with cultural and tourism authorities of Hedong, Yishui, Yinan, Pingyi, Feixian and Mengyin counties on August 11. The pact aims to break regional barriers and build a city-wide integrated development pattern for commerce, culture and tourism.
Guided by Linyi's "1 plus 7" integrated cultural tourism strategy, the partnership follows the development concept of "the trade city as scenic spot, shops as tourist attractions and shopping as travel experience". Lanshan District has upgraded five major wholesale markets into 3A-level tourist destinations by optimizing facilities and visitor services in eight key dimensions.
In recent years, Lanshan has rolled out more than ten integrated shopping-tourism routes such as "Night Tour of Langya" and launched dedicated tourist shuttle lines. The district introduced exclusive discount policies for tour groups and the joint ticket alliance program, holding 68 cross-promotion events in neighboring provinces, which brought over 700,000 additional visitors to Linyi Trade City.
Seven key commercial markets and cultural enterprises delivered feature presentations at the signing ceremony. Officials from six county cultural and tourism bureaus exchanged plans on resource sharing, mutual visitor flow and joint marketing.
Moving forward, all participating regions will fully implement the agreement, jointly polish the brand "Travel Linyi, Shop at Trade City", and jointly tap the huge consumption potential of integrated cultural and commercial tourism across the whole city.
