Mengshan scenic spot launches free entry for all visitors in August amid sea of clouds

Yimeng Mengshan Tourist Area in Feixian rolls out a nationwide free admission campaign valid from now until August 31, offering visitors stunning misty mountain landscapes and diversified summer leisure experiences.

When drizzles and mist wrap mountain ridges, Mengshan presents a fairy-tale sea of clouds. The 505.5-meter World’s No.1 Pedestrian Suspension Bridge stands atop peaks, allowing tourists to stroll amid floating clouds and overlook layered mountain ranges. Wanghai Tower delivers panoramic views of mist-shrouded valleys, becoming the most popular shooting spot for visitors.

Multiple themed zones enrich summer trips. The Forest Water Park equipped with water slides, mushroom fountains and kids’ play pools creates a natural cool escape with forest shade and constant breeze. Butterfly Valley, dubbed "Little Chiang Mai of Northern China", features misty green woods and blooming flowers, ideal for casual photography. Black Sand Beach and minimalist Taishan-style viewing platforms offer unique quiet waterfront scenery.

The scenic area arranges immersive live performances including the Ballad of Yimeng Mountain staged every Tuesday to Sunday, plus cliff aerial wire stunt shows. Complete supporting routes cover self-driving roads, cable cars and hiking trails for all-age travelers.

Rules of the free ticket policy: All domestic tourists can enter the scenic area free of charge by sharing relevant promotional content online; minors under 18 must be accompanied by guardians. The campaign aims to welcome guests from all regions and showcase the ecological and cultural charm of Yimeng Mountain.
